This property consists of two adjacent strategic parcels of land in the prime Camberwell Junction retail and business activity centre. The acquisition of the properties has been accomplished in two stages, with 132 Camberwell Road settled in January 2008 and 144 Camberwell Road will settle in July 2008.
The properties currently comprise 2,500 square metres of land and over 100 metres of frontage. A planning permit was obtained to re-develop the property to include 1,795 square metres of ground retail and 5,647 square metres of commercial/office space with 226 carpark spaces. The project will be developed by Bensons for the Bensons Retail Strip Property Fund.
