Bensons Property Group through its associate company Bendigo Properties Pty Ltd, will develop and build as required this leading edge precinct.  Alternatively, occupiers may acquire land and develop their own facilities. 

Wellsford Estate is a 30 hectare green field site close to the Bendigo airport and well served by major highways to the north, south, east and west, as well as rail. Secure natural buffers protect and encourage development of world class businesses that will be further protected by sensible design principles. Wellsford Estate has been developed in line with the highest environmental principles including energy-efficient designs, environmentally responsible building materials and energy-efficient fittings.
   
Wellsford Estate takes its name from the surrounding Wellsford Forest which apart from providing a natural buffer zone, helps give rise to Bendigo’s claim as being a "City within a Forest". The surrounding region is home to some of Australia’s most productive agricultural lands, with major grains, stone fruit, dairy, olives, livestock and viticulture industries to be found within one hour of Bendigo.
